Terms of Use
The goal of Certified for Access is to encourage and facilitate open, respectful and purposeful dialogue on a issues related to accessibility and the process that is tasked with helping develop certification standards for accessibility at businesses and organizations across Ontario. This is an opportunity for Ontarians to share views and engage in discussion and we appreciate your interest in helping Certified for Access build a better Ontario for everyone.
Participants are required to register and provide a valid email account before participating in the dialogue, submitting stories, responding to engagement questions or providing feedback. If you wish, you may add an optional screen name to your profile to replace your real name on any public facing screen when you participate. You must not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of such content.
Moderation Policy
Accordingly, we reserve the right to remove comments, including comments that are:
- racist, hateful, sexist, homophobic, slanderous;
- insulting or involve questionable conduct in regards to a person;
- aggressive, rude, coarse, violent, obscene, profane or pornographic in nature;
- offensive or abusive to an individual or organization;
- used for advertising or promotional purposes;
- repetitive or spamming threads; or,
- off topic or do not add to the normal flow of the discussion, as determined by the moderators.
Certified for Access is committed to providing a safe, open, and respectful forum for discussion about creating a more accessible Ontario for everyone. This moderation policy is designed to allow all users to share their opinions and ideas. Constructive disagreements are part of the discussions. However, abusive, intolerant or insulting comments will not be tolerated. They will be removed by the moderator.
Anyone acting contrary to the terms of use may have their account temporarily or permanently suspended. Please keep in mind the views of participants do not necessarily represent our views
